Knowlesville Country Fair

   Friday's Writers Gathering will start off the weekend by sharing the voices of local authors from 10am-3:30pm at the Knowlesville Art & Nature Centre. Local features authors include; Andrea Bear-Nicholas; Brigitte Marsden; Jaime R. Wood; James Ness; Doris Kennedy; and Brian Francis. There will be a youth open mic at 11:20 am and a potluck style lunch at noon. This is a free to attend event.

   Friday's Jamboree Night runs from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Knowlesville Art & Nature Centre! Doors open at 5:00 pm with a by donation home cooked chili (vegetarian/vegan and meat options available), salad, bread & pies in a buffet style fundraising supper in support of the school. This is followed by a concert by talented indie-folk singer and songwriter Jont. End out the evening with a caller-led traditional country dance and fiddle jamboree. All are welcome to come enjoy the music and dance! This is a by donation event.

   The Country Fair goes from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Saturday October 3rd at the Knowlesville Art & Nature Centre! This annual fall fair features live music, artist demonstrations, rural skill exhibitions, local artisan and food market, games and activities, farm animals and more! Entry is by donation with every $5 donated earning you a ticket into our door prize raffle draw.
