The Recreation Department provides a wide range of recreation activities and programs including hockey, ice skating, soccer, softball, baseball, swimming, hiking, biking, and snowshoeing. It also supports local events and festivals such Hartland Winter Fest, Haunted Trails, Canada Day, New Brunswick Day, Christmas tree lightings and concerts, and the Big Bridge Fest. It also provides after-school and summer day camp programs for children. Recreation staff reside at the Day & Ross Community Centre at 400 McLean Avenue.
